Floral Crowns 1st Edition: Spring Blooms
It makes my heart glad that floral crowns are trending this season, because it gives me an excuse to indulge my obsession with them. To me, they are timeless and I will love them forever. I made them out of wildflowers when I was young, my best friend and I created one for my wedding day, and I most certainly will be wearing one any other chance I get. My mother’s green thumb and my own affinity for nature has inspired me to appreciate how flowers can completely change a space…a garden, a table, or even your own head. Short hair or long hair, whimsical or simple…there is a floral crown out there for you. My friend Jordan, the kind and talented florist of Blum Floral Design, has teamed up with me to share her secrets on creating your very own crown. You can find the official tutorial on Green Wedding Shoes, a blog that I <3 and recommend to anyone planning a wedding or if you just like looking at pretty things 🙂 Thank you so much for featuring us today! And of course a huge thank you to Kendra, our fabulous make-up artist! This girl knows her stuff and you definitely need to check out her blog Citizens of Beauty…the makeup tutorial she did for Easter is on my must-try list. Thank you Something Borrowed for lending us your vintage table, one of the many things in your inventory that I wish was in my home. Last but not least, thank you to our gorgeous models, Olivia and Audrey…you ladies are an absolute joy in this world and so much fun to work with 🙂
Who is going to try to make their own crown this weekend? ME!!!!
